About Kirkham Bros. LLC

Our motivation for forming Kirkham Bros. LLC stems from a genuine passion for building things with our hands and resolving the challenges that remodeling and building projects inevitably entail.

We grew up in a do-it-yourself family emphasizing workmanship and quality that includes a long line of previous generations of professional carpenters. It is our desire to help our customers maximize the functionality and beauty of their homes through greater consideration for the desired goal, better design, and superior craftsmanship.

Christopher Kirkham - Principal Owner

I've always loved houses, and particularly remodeling houses with an attention to current proper building techniques and pleasing design. I attribute this to watching This Old House with my grandfather and working with my uncle and father.

I have a B.S. in engineering from Penn State University, and previously worked for an environmental consulting firm where I analyzed contaminated sites throughout the country, developed and implemented plans for remediation, evaluated and permitted new and existing power generation facilities, and worked with regulatory agencies to coordinate all of these activities. Additionally, I previously worked as a project manager and a draftsman, where I designed and worked on both interior and exterior construction projects, including design of custom cabinetry.

In 2001 I started my own business remodeling houses to fulfill a personal desire to work for myself and do something for which I have a real passion. In 2004 I convinced my brother Scott to join me, and we formed Kirkham Bros. LLC.

My outside interests include competing nationally in my Miata in SCCA autocross events, cycling (on-road and off), playing guitar, bird hunting with my two dogs, traveling with my wife, and remodeling my Cape Cod house.

Scott Kirkham - Principal Owner

I've always loved to build things with my own two hands. The satisfaction of seeing a project transform from raw materials into a finished product is my motivation. I honestly sleep well every night, exhausted from the days work, and happily dreaming of what lies ahead for the next day.

I have a B.A. in landscape contracting from Penn State University, and worked for a couple of large landscaping firms in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh areas as a senior supervisor managing crews, designing and installing irrigation systems on golf courses and constructing large-scale retaining walls.

In 2004 I decided to pursue the challenge of working for myself so I joined Chris to form Kirkham Bros. LLC.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and playing with our daughter, mountain bike racing, team off-road adventure racing with my brother Patrick, and remodeling my house.
