Porch and Roof

This project included demolition of the existing front porch roof, construction of new roof structures on the rear dormer and new front porch, and a new roof on the entire house.

Kitchen

A wall between the kitchen and family room was opened up to tie the spaces together and the kitchen was completely remodeled, including new wiring and lighting, ceramic tile flooring that extended to the foyer and powder room, new cabinets in a new layout, and solid surface countertops.

Kitchen

This gutted bathroom was completely remodeled to include a tiled tub surround and floor, and a custom granite tiled vanity top with vessel sink.

Bath

This bathroom was gutted and reconfigured by eliminating the tub in favor of a curbed stand-up shower with subway tile walls, relocating the toilet, rewiring the entire bath, installing a warm tile floor with radiant electric heat on a programmable thermostat, and updating all of the fixtures.

Rene and I couldn't be happier with the job. Your work is of the highest quality. But, more importantly, Kirkham Brothers are easy to work with. It is important to both of us to have a contractor who is willing to listen to our ideas and also feels comfortable sharing his own ideas and thoughts. Moreover, we need someone who is flexible and willing to adjust on the run. You met all of these requirements easily. Thank you.

When we are ready to remodel the kitchen we will call. At that time we can brainstorm ideas and schedule a tentative work date. We're particularly interested in your thoughts on design, countertops, and flooring.

My wife and I bought an early 60s house that needed a lot of work. After my wife and I got most of the basics out of the way, we started hiring various contractors for additional work. Some of them we'd never hire again, and a couple others were decent but still had their issues. However the Kirkham Brothers were our favorite and are the ones we'll keep going back to when we need additional work. They redid our kitchen, master bath, powder room, foyer, and family room. This work included installing ceramic tile, cabinets, built-in appliances, opening up a wall between kitchen and family room, drywall work, refinishing hardwood floor, plumbing (including relocating toilet and everything else you'd expect in remodeling a kitchen and 2 baths), electrical (both 220v and 120v), and probably other things I'm forgetting.

There is nothing that we needed done that they weren't capable of doing. Throughout the process they were very professional, punctual, friendly, and gave lots of attention to detail. I feel that they are the best value if you're looking for top quality work. I've tried the cheapest route with other people before, and believe me you end up paying more in the long run once their mistakes are corrected. You can't go wrong with Kirkham Brothers.

In 2006, I hired Kirkham Bros. for a bathroom renovation. They came to the house, looked at the job and sent me a proposal. They also told me when they could start and finish the job.

I hired them and true to their word, they showed-up on time, did an excellent job and completed the project as scheduled. Impressed with the quality of their work and appreciative of their professionalism, I continued to use them for a kitchen renovation, a porch roof replacement, a backyard fence installation and countless other jobs.

Frankly, I wouldn't use anyone else.

Kirkham Brothers came heavily recommended and now we know why. What started as a bathroom renovation turned into a virtual whole-house renovation. Our budgets were originally very tight, but once we saw the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail for every single ounce of work we couldn't stop finding more work for them to do! The house just kept getting better and better! We are VERY excited to work with them again and start an extensive addition/remodel. You will very simply not find a better resource for your project, period.
